50 shades of addiction

I have temporarily lost site of my blog, but only because the last week has been crazy and a blur!

After graduation, my sister was here for like 10 days, so when I wasn't at work, I was spending time with my family, because family means everything. 

Bonding for my family means lots of shopping and eating, luckily shopping helps burn some of the calories! 

Also, I got convinced into reading these very addiciting books, which consumed my last week until last night when I finished the third one. These books were just so capturing that they were almost impossible to put down!

One thing I hate about reading is once you have finished the book, you are just at a loss of what to do with yourself. I mean, you spend hours being trapped inside the world of your imagination while you read, and then when there is no more book, it is like you are lost back into reality! Lucky for me, I work the next 5 days, so hopefully that will help me get back into reality. I highly recommend these books, as long as you are an adult!

I did it!!

So it is now official. I am a college graduate!!

Graduation was on Friday, and as boring as it was, it was an experience I will never forget! I don't have my diploma officially yet, but that should be in the mail shortly!

This is me right after I got my fake diploma. You can see how excited I was! After graduation, we had a grad party and it was really fun to have all my family and friends together and it was a great night.

It is a weird feeling, and I sort of don't feel any different. Probably because everyone is getting out of school so I don't feel any different. When they all go back to school and I don't that is probably when it will kick in. Or maybe when I get my diploma. And maybe it is because I still have to go back to school to get my credential, so I am not done forever. But until then, I am taking a little time off, so I will really enjoy not going back to school!!

finals have taken over

I feel as if all I have done lately is study for finals.

Good  news though? I am only one more final away from graduation!! Can't wait for that! Yet it is still pretty unreal.

I am still in shock that in 2 days I will be graduating college. I mean where have the last 4 years gone?!



This was my high school graduation 4 years ago, and I feel like it was just yesterday or something like that. How on earth has 4 years of college classes gone by? Especially the last 2 years at Sac State. I feel like those just flew by so FAST!

Just such a crazy thought. I guess it means it is time for me to grow up and start my future? What a scary thought. Anyways, back to studying!

Busy busy busy!

Things have been so hectic. Last weekend consisted of birthday festivities which included golfing, dinner, and an ice cream date with the besties. It was a great weekend.

This last week has been busy because it has been the last week of school. I have turned in all my papers, and finished all my homework, and now all I have left is finals! I am 3 finals away from graduation which is so exciting/unreal.

My weekend is going to consist of studying a lot! The good news about that is that next weekend I will be free of school and homework and papers until I start to get my credential. I can't wait!

In other exciting news, my sister is coming home for my graduation and will be here for the week. Should be exciting!!

You win some, you lose some

I went out to celebrate my birthday last night. It was so much fun. Went out with some of my besties, Marc, and some people from work. I went to this bar I have never been too before and it was so much fun.

It was a really good night and I somehow managed to be fully functioning for work today. But then, because half the people I work with don't have reliable cars and can't ever find another way to work, the sampler called in and couldn't make it. So guess who had to cover? Moi. So annoying. I wish things like this didn't occur at work all the time but for some reason I feel as if I am constantly getting the short end of the stick. Good news is I am so close to graduation and one step closer to a real adult job. Can't wait for that to happen.

On another  note my birthday is tomorrow and I am pretty excited to have the day off and enjoy turning 22. I will hope for a better day.

Blogaholic.

I have decided to start up a new blog. I love blogs, and get really hooked on reading them, so I figured, why not have my own? With my life starting to change, I figure this would be a good way to get out some thoughts and such as things start to blossom around me. What are these changes you may ask? Well for starters, in the next couple of weeks I graduate college, turn 22, and begin my life as an adult. The first two are the big ones coming up, especially that whole graduate college things. Yikes. Where did the last 4 years go? I feel like I was just a freshman in High School, and here I am almost done with my undergraduate work ready to be a real adult. 

Anyways, I am still getting into making this blog fun and great!
